Heather Vickers

Director

In Toronto’s west end, Heather Vickers lives with her family, raising two boys, ages 17 and 13, the eldest nearing completion of high school as a student who is visually impaired at W. Ross Macdonald School in Brantford, Ontario. Heather has been actively engaged within her community and abroad, volunteering her time primarily to groups connected to the education system for over the past decade. From the schools in her community to those from right across Toronto, Heather has run many parent events, fundraisers, and council meetings, to participating at the TDSB Boardroom table, as a Ward 2 Representative (and later as CoChair) of PIAC, TDSB’s Parent Involvement Advisory Committee. Heather also ran as a Trustee candidate for Etobicoke Centre in 2018, and continues to be active in the parent community and on the political scene, while enjoying reading, gardening and family adventures in her spare time.
